Location

Situated in the west of Nice, 250m from the beach and 20 min, by bus, from the school to the town centre. The district is very quiet, with numerous commerce (bars, restaurants, bakeries, small supermarkets…) as well as banks and post offices. St-Augustin train station is very close and an important asset for those wanting to visit the region.

Description

The Jean Médecin residence, is only open in July and August, it is a convivial place making it easy, to meet people from all over the world. See available dates . It offers simple assets adapting to student life: foyer with beverage machines, garden, TV room and public telephones. The Bedrooms are all single rooms and are equipped with a desk, cupboard, sink and shower. Toilets can be found on every floor.

- Services include : bed linen, cleaning 1x per week, message service, breakfast

- Extra services : washing centre, fax

- Catering : breakfast is included in the price of the room. It can be taken in the residence's self-service restaurant. For dinner, you can opt for the restaurants weekly " meal" formula (carte de pension - weekly prepaid card, to be paid in cash).

The summer residence accommodation is very economical (less than a shared room in a youth hostel).

Airport/Train Station Transfer

You can be picked up at Nice station or airport upon arrival and taken back for departure. It is necessary to inform us on the time and date of your arrival (including flight or train number) no later than 5 days before your arrival. This service is available from 9am until 10pm, Saturday and Sunday (other hours and other days: contact us).

Arrivals - Departures

After having gone through the inventory of the room, you will receive the residence's house rules as well as the key for your bedroom. The room has to be left again the latest at 12pm on the Saturday of your departure.

Free shuttle bus

A shuttle bus assures the daily connection between the residence Jean Médecin and the school Azurlingua: In the morning it takes you to class and in the evenings it brings you back to the residence. This shuttle bus is completely free and reserved for Azurlingua's students. It also connects the residence to the town centre in the evenings from 8pm until 1am.
