Sorbonne University > Long-term program These courses respond to general needs in French and offer different communication objectives for each level >. Their final objective is for you to reach a sufficient level of knowledge for you to be able to follow a French university course without any difficulties. The courses are sanctified by a University Diploma (DU) of the Paris-Sorbonne University, (Paris IV) "le Certificat Pratique de Langue Française" (obligatory exam). Description- From 20 to 30 lessons of 45 min per week - A maximum of 12-15 students per class - Duration of 21weeks (473 hours of formation) or 33 weeks (743 hours of formation) - Level: 200 points TEF min - Evaluation test of your level upon arrival - Certificate at the end of your course showing the level of the acquired French knowledge (European standard) AssistanceTo meet the requirements of the Paris-Sorbonne University (Paris IV) our service will help you obtain a pre-inscription for one of the courses mentioned below: - Archeology and History of Art - Geography and urban development - History - Foreign languages, literature and civilization or Applied Foreign Languages - Literature, philology and linguistics - Music and Musicology - Philosophy and Sociology For more information click on the following link: : http://www.paris4.sorbonne.fr/fr/IMG/pdf/offreP4masters0607.pdf This registration will become definite once fulfilling the terms of registration and attaining the DU (University diploma) of the Paris-Sorbonne University (Paris IV) and . These pre-registrations can only be made for students in their 3rd year of a degree, 1st or 2nd year of a Masters and for those, exclusively following higher education. The application form must be handed in to Azurlingua by the latest the end of May in order to respect the schedule of the equivalence commission of UFR of the Paris-Sorbonne University (Paris IV). A definite reply will be given at the latest the end of July. Attestation of the pre-inscription will not be sent to the students until the full payment of the course at Azurlingua has been made. Students will not be accepted at the Paris-Sorbonne University (Paris IV) without presenting the "Certificat Pratique de Langue Française". No exceptions will be made. A teacher within the school will be on duty, helping and allowing the students to find a solution in case of problems. This teacher will also accompany the students, if they wish, throughout their administrative walk to the prefecture as well as through any other administrative problems, which should arise. Beginning and ending dates of the courses :Session as of October - Intermediate level (B1): from 22/10 until 27/06 File must be handed to Azurlingua school -Nice by end of May Session as of February 2007 - Intermediate level + (B2) and advanced (C1): from 5/02 until 29/06 File must be handed in by November at the latest Period of the examsJune and October Diploma presented (obligatory)The "Certificat Pratique de Langue Française" (University diploma of the Paris-Sorbonne University (Paris IV). Azurlingua school is the official examination center of the University. With this title, it is entitled to pass on the university diploma and attestation which will allow you to sign up for one of its' courses at the Paris-Sorbonne University (Paris IV). Price Course :Administrative fees: - 200,00 € per students for the duration of the course - From February 2007 (21 week course / 473 H): 2552,00 € - From October 2007 (33 week course / 743 H): 3896,00 € Accommodation The school Azurlingua proposes students wishing to be accommodated in Nice to stay at the CROUS University residence for the usual price, as well as the hotel residence in a double room at a competitive price. Administrative fees - 200,00 € per student for searching for an accommodation and setting the students up in their apartment. Accommodation costs: - CROUS of Nice: a room in the university residence for +/- 200,00 € / month - Partner hotel residence " Cité A ": approx. 400,00 € /month in a double room.
